  • Therapy is often most effective when it's consistent. Monthly Care Plans were created to make scheduling easier, simplify monthly payments, and support ongoing progress by encouraging regular appointments.

  • Your first month includes:

    • One comprehensive diagnostic intake (60–90 minutes)

    • Three individual psychotherapy sessions (approximately 50 minutes each)

After your first month, your plan includes:

    • Up to four psychotherapy sessions per monthly billing cycle

    • Limited treatment-related messaging between sessions

    • Priority scheduling when available

  • Your initial appointment is a comprehensive diagnostic intake. During this session, we'll review your history, discuss your goals, and develop an initial treatment plan. Because the intake is a longer, more in-depth appointment, it takes the place of one of your monthly sessions.

  • Monthly Care Plans include up to four sessions per monthly billing cycle, regardless of how many weeks are in the calendar month.

If an additional session is clinically appropriate and scheduling permits, it may be scheduled at my current private-pay rate.

  • Sessions are reserved specifically for you.

Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice or missed appointments count as one of your monthly sessions and are not eligible for rollover.

  • Generally, no.

Sessions are valid only during the monthly billing cycle in which they are purchased and expire at the end of that billing cycle.

In limited circumstances, one unused session may be rolled over to the following month when advance notice is provided and an unexpected circumstance outside your reasonable control prevents attendance. Approval is at the therapist's discretion.

  • Examples may include:

    • Illness

    • Family emergency

    • Hospitalization

    • Severe weather

    • Other unexpected events outside your reasonable control

Examples that generally do not qualify include:

    • Work conflicts

    • Vacations

    • Childcare arrangements

    • Oversleeping

    • Forgetting an appointment

    • Scheduling conflicts

  • Yes.

If additional therapy is clinically appropriate and scheduling permits, extra appointments may be scheduled at the current private-pay rate.

  • No.

Your Monthly Care Plan includes limited treatment-related messaging intended to support your work between sessions.

    Examples include:

    • Brief questions about skills discussed in therapy

    • Updates on progress

    • Clarification regarding homework

    • Scheduling questions

Messaging is not intended to replace therapy sessions, provide ongoing counseling by text, or respond to emergencies.

  • Messages are generally reviewed during normal business hours.

While I make every effort to respond promptly, response times cannot be guaranteed and are typically within one to two business days.

  • Monthly Care Plans are not crisis services.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, call 911, go to your nearest emergency department, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

Please do not rely on text messaging or email for urgent situations.

  • Yes.

Monthly Care Plans automatically renew each billing cycle until canceled. You may cancel before your next billing date by providing written notice at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Monthly Care Plans are designed to provide consistent care and are generally not intended to be paused.

If you anticipate being unavailable for an extended period, we can discuss whether canceling and restarting your plan at a later date is the best option.

  • Psychotherapy focuses on assessing and treating mental health concerns, improving emotional well-being, and working toward therapeutic goals.

ADHD coaching focuses on practical skill development such as organization, planning, executive functioning, accountability, routines, and productivity.

If you're unsure which service is right for you, we can discuss your goals during a consultation.

  • Can I participate in both therapy and ADHD coaching?

    Possibly.

Some clients benefit from combining services, while others are best served by one type of support. Recommendations are based on your individual goals and clinical needs.

  • Your plan provides priority scheduling when availability permits, but appointments are still scheduled based on mutual availability.

Scheduling appointments in advance is the best way to reserve your preferred day and time.

  • No.

Monthly Care Plans are completely optional. Clients may continue scheduling appointments individually at the current private-pay rates.

  • Yes. If a Monthly Care Plan is appropriate for your treatment goals, you may enroll at the start of a new billing cycle. We'll discuss the best time to transition based on your current treatment plan.

  • Yes. Monthly Care Plans are optional. If your needs change, you may return to scheduling individual appointments at the current private-pay rate after your current billing cycle ends.
